Welcome

Need some help? I'm here for you, I have been to my fair share of weddings and I am happy to share what I know to help you have the most epic wedding day. My kick arse couples really do make this my dream job Any questions? just hola at me, lets meet up for coffee x

I have said it once and I will say it one million times more, How lucky am I to travel to these beautiful places and call it work!

When I got an email from Tania about travelling to Te Anau for her wedding to Todd I couldn't be more excited, especially since Todd is a 3rd or 4th cousin of mine.

Te Anau is a very special place for these two which made it the perfect place for them to say their vows. Their ceremony was along the lakefront surrounded by loved ones and close friends. Grey clouds rolled in over the mountains behind us but the rain held off.

We spent the afternoon exploring places that held special meaning to them both, from a quick stop at the rodeo to a trip up to the lookout where Todd proposed.  We even got a big rainbow as we were leaving the carpark.

It was such an honor to not only be there to capture their wedding but to witness and be apart of it.

xx

Kylie & Russ where do I even start with these two, when I met them both for the first time we chatted and laughed like old friends, got side tracked from the task at hand and had to keep re focusing on wedding planning. It was fair to say when they left I was so excited to be the gal they asked to capture their day.

Their wedding was on the first weekend of Autumn, after a extremely hot and dry summer here at the top of the south island all our feilds were golden brown and the hills and valleys surrounding Nelson were ablaze from wild fires. These two didnt let it rattle them we just made new plans on where to do the reveal and it was perfect.

A day surrounded by friends, family and laughter it is clear to see just how much the people in their lives love and adore them. It was such a honour to get to know them both and to capture their day as it unfolded. It was truly beautiful and one I will never forget.

When I first met Nicole and Owen I knew their day would be nothing short of wonderful.

Their engagement shoot was full of laughs as we stumbled over boulders at sunset and caught the last of the days light while running away from the incoming tide. After that day I knew their wedding would be something special and I couldnt wait to hang out with these two again.

After arriving at the sweetest little cottage where the gals were getting ready I could see Nicoles excitement, today she was to marry her best friend and she was absolutley glowing. The boys were busy making last minute adjustments on the hilux Owen buit from the ground up, this was their carriage for the day and it suited them to a tee.  As a child Nicole grew up on Wastney terrece which sits at the bottom of a very large and beautiful hill over looking Nelson and the boulder bank, Her dream was to one day get married at the top and today was that day.  The beautiful family that live at the top of Harris hill allowed them onto their property to make this dream come true and it couldnt have been more perfect.  The rain stopped just in time and the clouds rolled in over the valley behind us as they said their I DO's.

I couldnt think of a more well suited couple Nicole and Owen I wish the two of you all the happiness in the world xx

Chanelle & Anthony didnt let a bit of wind and rain ruin their Engagement shoot last weekend and with Anthony leaving on the first flight back to Wellington the next day postponing was not an option, Instead we took shelter under trees at the Cable Bay adventure park while we waited to see if the rain stop.....It didnt. My job was made easy by these two as they giggled there way through the shoot, It quickly became very obvious how truly perfect they are for each other. I had the best afternoon and actually cant remember the last time I had so much fun running around in the rain. We made a few friends along the way some Sheep, Horses and random Dogs that tried to pee on my umbrella, but hey thats all part of it right!

I met Owen and Nicole over a year ago so I was super excited when we caught up again last week to do their engagement shoot.

We headed off to Cable bay as the sun was setting accompanied by Shelby their adorable and full of energy Staffy, I had a master plan to take them up the hill and catch the last of the days rays I had it all planned out it was going to be perfect. However once we arrived we found the track had been closed due to lambing. Its funny how things happen like that because when I look at these images I couldnt be happier I love them on the beach, we laughed about stubbing our toes on the boulders and how they apparently cant walk and hold hands at the same time (lies see the last photo). It was the perfect afternoon and I am so excited to hang out again in December.

I know I say it all the time but how LUCKY am I to call this work. I get to hang out with and meet the most awesome people every day.
